God our potter 

 "Get up on your feet!" God urged Jeremiah. Visit the potter's studio. I'll tell you what I have to say when you get there." So I proceeded to the potter's house, where the potter was, indeed, working at his wheel. When the pot the potter was working on didn't come out as planned, as may happen when dealing with clay, the potter would simply start over and produce another pot with the same clay. Then God spoke to me, saying, "Can't I do just like this potter, people of Israel?"
